Dee Hooker and Sara Friedlander, both working in mixed media, combining photography and paint, will together guide the workshop participants through their shared process. All materials will be provided, including a limited number of images both figurative and architectural, and some with reference to Sierra Azul. Everyone will be walked, step-by-step, through the collage process, learning important tricks of the trade, and with the use of composition and paint, each piece will be transformed into a unique expression of individual creativity. If you bring your own portrait photo you can put yourself (or your dog?) in the artwork.
