Recycle Reuse Recreate

Enjoy the innovative work of our member artists who explored our theme by creating with recycled items, “green” media, and repurposed items or art.

“Recycle, Reuse, Recreate,” is the theme and title of this year’s collective exhibit at Pajaro Valley Arts Council Gallery and highlights the work of over seventy local artists. Ordinary items and discards become fun, funny, and beautiful works of art. Michael Seymour’s sculpture from metal scraps becomes a figure. Reiko Michisaki’s broken and discarded cuckoo clock is now crawling with lizards and sings on the hour. A cigar box becomes a much adorned sculpture in the hands of Jamie Abbott. Bonnie Britton used scraps of fabric to create an elegant and delicate wall piece.
