Mi Casa es Tu Casa 10
Community groups and families are invited to build altars inside the PVAC Gallery for this year’s Mi Casa es Tu Casa art exhibit. The theme for this annual art display is inspired by Día de Los Muertos, a traditional holiday celebrated in Mexico, and is further enriched by a multitude of similar traditions from worldwide cultures.
Mi Casa es Tu Casa 2010 will showcase the rich art and tradition of altar-making, as well as celebrate the splendid diversity of our community by encouraging participation from a variety of local groups.
Who can participate: Any formal or informal group of three or more people who consider themselves part of the Pajaro Valley community and values community diversity. Examples include: families, school groups, non-profits, clubs, groups of colleagues, etc. All groups are encouraged to attend the free altar-making workshop taught by Jose Ortiz. Details to follow.
