Los Pájaros
The Pajaro Valley Arts Council is hosting Los Pájaros, an exhibition of bird themed art to celebrate the many birds that reside in Pájaro Valley. It is timed to coincide with the Monterey Bay Birding Festival hosted by the City of Watsonville which draws people from around the U.S., England and Mexico.
Special thanks to Julie Rix, sound engineer/artist, who created a birdsong installation for the exhibit.

Los Pajaros is a an exhibition of bird inspired art chosen to celebrate the rich texture of bird life abounding in the Pajaro Valley and far afield. This dynamic show includes photography, painting, assemblage, ceramics and more.
Los Pájaros Call for Entry
The Pajaro Valley Arts Council is hosting Los Pájaros, an exhibition of bird themed art to celebrate the many birds from which the Pájaro Valley draws its name. It is timed to coincide with the Monterey Bay Birding Festival hosted by the City of Watsonville which draws people from around the U.S., England and Mexico. You are invited to submit bird themed works in all media, including, but not limited to, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, assemblage, and science illustration. Entries will be juried by Jane Gregorius and Susan Matulich.
