Sierra Azul Nursery and Sculpture Gardens

Presented by the Pajaro Valley Arts Council

Deadline: March 26, 2010

Exhibit Dates: May 23 - October 31, 2010

We invite your participation in the fifth annual Pajaro Valley Arts Council (PVAC) sculpture exhibition, taking place in the beautiful two-acre Sierra Azul Nursery demonstration gardens, located at 2660 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville, California. We have enjoyed four critically and financially successful exhibits and look forward to including your sculpture in our fifth.

Pieces submitted must be weatherproof (to be insured) and should be of a scale suitable for outdoor display. Pieces intended for display on pedestals taller than 19” may not be selected. We have limited access to electricity for the installation and display of sculpture. Ceramic sculpture comprised of multiple pieces must be internally secured, and all ceramic sculpture needs to have a means or method of securing the piece to the base or pedestal.

Review: Entries will be juried by Jamie Abbott, artist and Cabrillo College sculpture instructor, and Jeff Rosendale, owner of Sierra Azul Nursery and Gardens and PVAC Board President.
